Truly A Bedstuy Chick!

So I have lived on the border of Bedstuy for 6 years now reaping all the amenities of Ft. Greene and Clinton Hill. My upcoming move is deeper and truly in the heart of Bedstuy. I am in the process of wrapping my mind and heart around the idea and what it will truly mean to the lifestyle I have become accustom to. For instance....

Currenty I live a block and a half away from the local train and 3 blocks from the express. In my new home I will be 4 blocks away from the G train which doesnt have the greatest "rep" as far as trains go.

Another thing is the food shopping.... Now where I live doesnt have the best products all the time but they have been improving. They now carry organic items.....and they were literally around the corner. I dont even know where the supermarket is for the new spot because I know i wont be shopping there. I gotta dust off my food coop card and start doing my workslots again. And I am gonna have to plan out my list more carefully as I will only be doing food shopping once a week when I have the car for work.

Finally, I will be a bit further out from most of my friends and family. But I am definitely looking forward to meeting the new neighbors!
